Der „11 oz. Blue Denim Work Coat“ von Sugar Cane orientiert sich an einfachen Store-Brand Arbeitsjacken der Zeit nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg – Stücke, die klar für den Einsatz gemacht waren und nicht für ein Label standen.

Gefertigt aus 11oz Denim aus Japan. Leicht im Vergleich zu klassischen Workwear-Stoffen, mit einer klaren, trockenen Oberfläche. Der Denim trägt sich ein und entwickelt mit der Zeit die typischen Gebrauchsspuren.

Die Front ist funktional aufgebaut und leicht asymmetrisch gehalten. Rechts eine Brusttasche mit Patte, links die charakteristische „3-in-1“-Pocket für Werkzeuge und Kleinteile. Dazu große, gefütterte Fronttaschen und eine zusätzliche Innentasche.

Der Kragen folgt einer älteren Konstruktion mit angesetztem Neckband, wie es bei frühen Work Coats üblich war, bevor diese Details später vereinfacht wurden.
