Der Makita DTW 285 ist ein sehr handlicher, mit 18 Volt Li-Ion Akkus betriebener Schlagschrauber und einer in 3 Stufen einstellbaren Dreh- und Schlagzahl. Der bürstenlose Motor sorgt für mehr Ausdauer, eine längere Lebensdauer und ein kompakteres Gehäuse. Der Schrauber besitzt eine Akku-Kapazitätsanzeige und eine leuchtstarke LED mit Nachglimmfunktion zur besseren Ausleuchtung der Arbeitsfläche. Zudem ist er mit einem aufwändigen Schutz gegen Staub oder Spritzwasser und einer im Links- / Rechtslauf einstellbaren 1/2“-Außenvierkant-Aufnahme ausgestattet.
