Jean-Jacques Girard ist ein unternehmungslustiger Winzer in der siebten Generation - der erste in der Familie, der sein eigenes Weingut gegründet hat. Seit 2008 ist sein Sohn Victor bei ihm und gemeinsam schaffen sie eine bemerkenswerte Auswahl an Burgunderweinen. Dieses Exemplar stammt aus einem Premier Cru-Weinberg in der Gemeinde Savigny-Les-Beaune, die an die Appellation Beaune angrenzt. Die Reben von "Les Peuillets" sind auf einer durchschnittlichen Höhe von 250 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel gepflanzt und bringen kräftige, fast fleischige Pinot Noirs hervor, die jedem Sammler einen Platz im Keller wert sind. "Les Peuillets" ist zu gleichen Teilen hell und komplex und eröffnet mit einem Bouquet von reifen roten Beeren, süßen Gewürzen und gemahlenem Pfeffer. Wie die übrigen Premier Cru-Weine der Domaine Jean-Jacques Girard reifte auch dieser Wein vor der Abfüllung 15 Monate in Eichenfässern. Auf der Zunge zeigen sich Anklänge von Eichenholz, aber am Gaumen dominieren ein rundes Mundgefühl, konzentrierte, konfitürartige Noten von Himbeeren und Kirschen sowie eine ausgeprägte Mineralität. Dies ist ein wunderbar ausgewogener Wein, der sich für die Kombination mit exquisiten Gerichten eignet. Er passt hervorragend zu gebratener Ente oder traditionelleren Burgundergerichten, wie z.B. Very nice but expensive

I love these cases, they didn't let out as much air as I had hoped for out the sides so I only zip it up half way so my pillow stays squishy and moldable and not partially filled with air which changes the feel of your pillow. Other then that they are great, they are very soft and quite, there is no noise whatsoever and there is some thickness to it adding a little more softness to your pillow. I ended up buying a second set. I just wish it had a little more airflow through the sides so I didn't have to leave it unzipped, that kind of defeats the purpose. I also think they are a little more expensive then they should be.

Does not change the pillows effectiveness at all.

As of right now, I have not noticed anything with these covers that would significantly alter the way the pillows feel. I'm greatful that they are not noisy as most other covers are. I also appreciate that they have very much the same feel as the covers that come on the pillows. One thing I can say so far with confidence is that even though this is an additional layer to my pillows, the original feeling, specially with the Eden cool+, has been the same in terms of coolness and breathability.

These pillows perform wonderfully and they hold up!

I have had these pillows for 5 years, so mine is not in brand new condition in this photo but they still appear pretty good and function wonderfully. I recommend these to others looking for a soft but supportive pillow. They are the standard microfiber cooling ones. I have one and my daughter (7) has the other. We use them every night and they are just the perfect amount of medium-softness for both of us despite us being very different in size! Still fluff back up, have just enough support and height or thickness in my opinion (I don’t like very firm microfiber pillows as much, and I don’t like the feather pillows that aren’t goose down because they get crunchy and flat). Love these pillows, the price is super reasonable for the product they provide. They have held up this long, I’d say they are of good quality. I’ve just ordered another set for a visit to my mothers house! Our favorite pillows!
