Protezione Vectran Breaker
Il riferimento nei sistemi antiforatura. Vectran è un filato in polimero liquido, che si trasforma in un composto termoplastico e multifilamenti. Questo materiale semicristallino è più duro dell'aramide, è dotato di resistenza alla trazione di cinque volte superiore a quella dell'acciaio e inoltre è anche più leggero di un equivalente filo in nylon. Vectran mantiene le sue caratteristiche anche nelle condizioni atmosferiche più difficili e non influisce negativamente sulla resistenza al rotolamento.

DuraSkin
I copertoni con i fianchi DuraSkindevono essere in grado di girare anche con le punture. Vengono usati nelle condizioni più estreme. Sulle biciclette messengers devono resistere a cordoli e gradini, su bici da turismo attraversano i continenti senza forature.
