EXO

EXO ist ein schnitt- und abriebfestes Material, das an den Seiten vieler Maxxis Mountainbike- und Gravel-Reifen angebracht wird. Dieser dicht gewebte Stoff ist leicht und sehr flexibel, wodurch die Leistung des Reifens erhalten bleibt. Wähle den EXO-Schutz für längere Haltbarkeit bei Gravel-, XC- und leichtem Trail-Fahren.

TUBELESS READY

Tubeless ready Reifen bieten dem Fahrer zahlreiche Vorteile: die Möglichkeit, mit niedrigeren Luftdrücken zu fahren, was die Traktion verbessert; geringerer Rollwiderstand im Vergleich zu einem Reifen mit Schlauch; und weniger Platten, da kein Schlauch vorhanden ist. Tubeless ready Reifen sind an den Buchstaben "TR" an der Flanke gekennzeichnet.

Tubeless ready Reifen müssen auf tubeless-kompatiblen Felgen montiert werden und erfordern die Verwendung eines flüssigen Dichtmittels, um den Luftdruck zu halten. Flüssige Dichtmittel haben den zusätzlichen Vorteil, kleine Einstiche abzudichten. Stelle sicher, dass du das Dichtmittel regelmäßig überprüfst und bei Bedarf erneuerst, da es mit der Zeit austrocknet.


Flüssige Dichtmittel dürfen nur in folgenden Reifentypen verwendet werden: straßentubeless, Tubular und tubeless ready. Die Verwendung von flüssigen Dichtmitteln in anderen Maxxis-Reifen führt zum Erlöschen der Garantie.
