Nach dem Drehen schrühe ich den dunklen Steinzeugton bei 980 °C, glasiere ihn seidenmatt transparent und brenne ihn anschließend bei 1230 °C. So bleibt die feinkörnige Sandstruktur sichtbar, während die Oberfläche samtig schimmert. Mit Ø 17 cm dient der Teller als Untertasse, Brotteller oder kleiner Snackteller. Der unglasierte Fuß bewahrt die ursprüngliche Tonstruktur; leichte Nuancen in Farbe und Porung machen jedes Stück zu einem unverwechselbaren Unikat. Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle und Backrohr meistert er mühelos.
