Produktbeschreibung:

Der DeWalt DCG 405 ist ein 18 Volt Akku betriebener und bürstenloser Winkelschleifer mit 125 mm Durchmesser. Durch den innovativen, bürstenlosen Motor kann eine höhere Leistung bei längerer Laufzeit pro Akkuladung, kompaktere Abmessungen und Einsparungen im Gewicht sowie eine generell höhere Lebensdauer der Maschine erzielt werden. Die mit Epoxyd-Harz gepanzerten Wicklungen schützen den Motor zusätzlich vor abrasiven Staubpartikeln, zugleich sorgt das optimierte Lüftungssystem im Inneren des Schleifers für eine perfekt angepasste Kühlung der Maschine und der Elektronik, was ebenfalls zu einer höheren Lebensdauer beiträgt. Das DeWalt eigene Perform & Protect System stoppt mit der Elektronischen Bremse die Scheibe zuverlässig in Sekundenschnelle (<2 Sekunden) und trägt so zum Schutz des Anwenders bei. Die Elektronische Kupplung schaltet das Gerät bei Blockieren automatisch ab und schützt so ebenfalls Anwender und Maschine zugleich. Beide Schutzsysteme minimieren die Gefahren bei Kickbacks noch effektiver. Die mitgelieferte Schutzhaube lässt sich werkzeuglos mit einer Hand verstellen und trägt zusammen mit dem ebenfalls mitgelieferten Seitengriff zu einem flexiblen und anwendungsgerechten Einsatz der Maschine bei. Eingeschaltet wird die Maschine durch einen Schiebeschalter mit Sicherungshebel der bei langen Arbeiten eine Entlastung des Anwenders garantiert.

I won't say that everyone urgently needs one of these. This is helped me up my game. Perhaps not absolutely necessary, but it noticeably reduces canalization and improves extraction. And it appears to have improved not only my espresso, but my pour-overs and my Mokapot (especially the Mokapot!). It's a little fiddley to assemble - there's sets of springs and needles - but once you get it all locked down, its very tight. There's a set of spares - I can't imagine needing them. The tool kinda sits in the weighted base, but it appears to stay put in my cabinet.
