Besonderheiten: Dieses Set umfasst drei Miniaturflaschen (je 50 ml) der Kernabfüllungen der dänischen Stauning Whisky Brennerei: Stauning HØST, Stauning Rye und Stauning KAOS. Ideal für diejenigen, die die Vielfalt und Qualität der dänischen Whiskyproduktion kennenlernen möchten.

Tasting Notes:

  • Stauning HØST:
    • Nase: Angenehmer Duft von Karamell, Pfirsichen, Äpfeln, reifen Waldbeeren und kräftigen Gewürzen.
    • Gaumen: Sanft und mild auf der Zunge. Neben reifem Steinobst, dunklen Beeren, Toffee und Wiesenhonig zeigen sich blumige Noten und süsse Zitrusfrüchte.
    • Abgang: Weich, fruchtig und würzig mit saftigen Gartenfrüchten, etwas Zimt, Eiche, gerösteten Nüssen und cremiger Vanille.
  • Stauning Rye:
    • Nase: Der Duft von frisch gebackenem Roggenbrot steigt in die Nase. Dahinter kommen Vanilleeis und hausgemachte Zitronenlimonade zum Vorschein.
    • Gaumen: Ausgewogen und mit sanfter Intensität breiten sich würziger Roggen, süsse Vanillesahne und kandierte Zitrone aus. Frische Minze setzt leckere Akzente.
    • Abgang: Mittellang mit Würze, frischen Früchten und Minzkaugummi.
  • Stauning KAOS:
    • Nase: Leichte Rauchnoten vermischen sich mit würzigem Haferbrei, saftigen Äpfeln und Weintrauben. Dahinter cremige Milchschokolade.
    • Gaumen: Nelken, Zimt und Kardamom vermischen sich mit deftigeren Würznoten. Ausserdem viel Karamell. Dazu Rauch, Birnen, Feigen und Pflaumen. Schokoladenpralinen und blumige Aromen im Hintergrund.
    • Abgang: Lang und kräftig mit leichtem Rauch und süssen Akzenten.

Destillerie/Abfüller: Stauning Whisky wurde 2005 von neun dänischen Whisky-Enthusiasten gegründet und ist die älteste Whiskybrennerei im Königreich Dänemark. Die Brennerei liegt im westlichen Teil Jütlands, südlich des kleinen Dorfes Stauning bei Skjern. Stauning Whisky produziert handwerklich hergestellten Whisky aus lokalem Getreide und Wasser, wobei traditionelle schottische Methoden angewendet werden.
