Das Spiel kombiniert Elemente von Memory mit einem spannenden Uhrmechanismus, bei dem Fehlversuche die Turmuhr immer näher zur Mitternacht rücken lassen.

Der Spielplan zeigt den Turm mit verschiedenen Etagen, auf denen die Gespensterkarten abgelegt werden. Die Spieler decken reihum Karten auf und versuchen, zusammen passende Paare zu finden. Gelingt dies nicht, wird die Uhr vorgerückt. Das gemeinsame Ziel ist es, alle Gespenster rechtzeitig zu finden, bevor die Zeit abläuft. Das fördert Gedächtnis, Kommunikation und Teamwork bei Jung und Alt, was das Gespensterturm-Spiel zu einem beliebten Gesellschaftsspiel macht.
